bibledit-data software package provides transitional dummy package to bibledit-gtk-data, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bibledit-data
bibledit-data is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bibledit-data package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bibledit-data *
You will get with bibledit-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
